A Mammoth Story

This is the video of an alleged woolly Mammoth seen in the wilds of Siberia. What do you think–true or hoax?

Remember the story I told you from 1999 when I read in a Norwegian newspaper that a team of Russian and Japanese scientists had cloned a mammoth with DNA taken from a frozen mammoth corpse in Siberia and they were waiting for its birth. Could this be the result?

what i find suspicious is that there is no more videos of it, even though the one who shot the video seemed to be pretty close to the mammoth. Why just the ‘what if’-point of view?

It seems, based on the visual perspective of creature versus the stream, it looks like a bear. Since you don’t see the creature on shore, it leads me to believe it was most likely a bear. It it really were a mammoth, wouldn’t anyone film as much of it as possible, as close as possible? Especially since it looks so close by and on land. Sorry to suck the mystery out of it.

Another fuzzy, out of focus, a thousand-mile-away, ten-second video. Geez, if I saw a once-in-a-lifetime phenomenon like that I’d at least focus my camera, and keep on shooting to see what it was going to do next
…and then I’d run outta there.

It’s fake. Just like every other video claiming they’ve caught some weird, strange something or other. It’s always blurry …. you try to figure it our. Even Slinter said it looks like a bear. The 1999 story may be true so they are putting out this fake video to get us ready for the real thing. I have no doubt they have cloned a woolly mammoth but this is not it.

They have the whole thing in a game (actually 2 or 3 of them) – look at the screenshots!

The idea of the game Syberia is to think that the actual mammoths do exist and find the man who is searchig them thru the actions of Kate Walker the main character of the game. That game was released on the market in 2002: Syberia I, and Syberia II in 2004. (!)

Syberia III will be released supposedly in 2014:

I think now that the mammoths really have a place not only as a legend but as a fact.
