This is what I thought. We had one here in L.A several night ago,a 3.5! I felt stronger and knocked a picture off my wall. They then said there was steam coming out of the fault line.I think thats were the smell is coming from it’s like the earth is farting!

Earthquakes suck, there’s just know were to go!

      Hi Mary,

      Have you considered moving?
I have a friend north of you who was talking about quakes being a routine occurrence. I asked him if it worried him and he told me that there would certainly be a huge one some day that would cause death and devastation. I know you may not have meant it this way, but when I asked him about relocating, he said basically the same thing – that there was no place to go.

Hey David! No I’m not worried but I’m prepared! I can’t leave. I work out here and my entire industry is out here, all my awesome friends too!

I LOVE the weather.I knew at 4 that I was going to live here someday.I’m suppose to be here for now,HOWEVER I won’t be here in my twighlight years. I’m suppose to go someplace else (NOT COLD)later in life.

David, when it’s your time,it’s your time!!! I’ll be fine! Maybe I’ll be living on a Island called California soon.

When I said “there was nowere to go” I meant when a earthquake hits, you can always run outside but you may not have enough time.

I can think of 50 places other than L.A I wouldn’t mind living in!

I run into the same issues when contemplating a move as well, although the weather here isn’t one of the selling points for me. When I was a kid I used to have recurring dreams of a raging fire outside of our home. In the dream I would yell at my parents for us to leave and they would say “as soon as the fire gets up to the window, the we’ll go.” I wonder occasionally if I’m doing that in areas in my life.
Anyway, THIS place is always a comfort. “How to Create a Safe Mind Pattern” in the video section is a big help for me also.
          Stay safe!

I’m sure that it’s like the ‘forest fire’ near Westmount College on the Montecito/Santa Barbara line. There are hot springs there and when you come out of them you smell like sulfur. Magma must be rolling again, greasing up the subduction zone, or Godzilla has made his way from Japan. You two were the first (and I think ONLY) ones to call the magma reason for the fire and I have had a feeling for years that’s been covered up!

My local paper is saying that the atmospheric conditions enabled the smell to travel over 100 miles to our local area in Ventura County. I drive that route often and it takes me 3 hours from my house to Indio which is 10 miles from the Salton Sea. There are many valleys and mountain passes to travel through. Seems like the biggest stink of all is coming from the media to cover up what is going on.

So this video is from late August. I was under the impression it was yesterday. This was in the news here. I guess its just not big enough news to be national. there are no smells here where I am.
